Ben is a bit like our very own Harry Kane of accounting: discreet, composed, and always right where we need him. Since joining Synergix in September 2022, this assistant accountant from Nyon—with proudly embraced British roots—has been a calm and invaluable force within our team.
A family calling and a first professional adventure
Benjamin has numbers in his blood. His father, a Chief Financial Officer at a Family Office, has always been a source of inspiration. From an early age, Benjamin grew up in an environment where rigour, precision, and accounting logic were part of everyday life. This family influence helped him develop a strong sensitivity to financial matters and an eye for detail—essential qualities for his profession today.
It was only natural for him to pursue a degree in Business Administration at HEG Geneva, where he earned a Bachelor’s in Business Economics. During his university years, Benjamin gained valuable work experience: an internship in accounting at an American company in Nyon, a role in a major Geneva bank, and even a part-time job as a delivery driver. This varied path strengthened his endurance, adaptability, and attention to detail—all indispensable qualities for his current role.
Benjamin’s arrival at Synergix came with a delightful twist of fate: on his very first onboarding day, he ran into Leticia and Ismaël, two former classmates from HEG. This coincidence reassured him and confirmed he’d made the right choice. Surrounded by familiar faces, he immediately sensed he’d found a welcoming and motivating work environment.
A well-orchestrated daily routine at Synergix
Today, Benjamin works as an assistant accountant. Together with Ismaël, he manages the full accounting cycle for our clients: invoice handling, bank reconciliations, administrative follow-ups, and payment preparation. Their duo thrives on mutual trust and a natural complementarity.
Just two weeks into the job, Benjamin demonstrated his composure by handling a delicate client situation. With calm and professionalism, he guided the client tactfully—further honing his interpersonal skills and ability to handle the unexpected.
Thanks to his British composure, Benjamin tackles each day methodically. Mornings are dedicated to urgent matters and bank reconciliations, while afternoons offer a mix of tasks: payment processing, analysis of specific entries, and responding to client queries.
2025 marked a major milestone: his very first active participation in year-end closings. This essential step for any accountant allowed him to consolidate his technical skills, understand year-end requirements more clearly, and learn to manage deadline pressure.
Benjamin also knows how to rely on the team to grow: he’s never afraid to ask questions or seek advice—always with humility and respect.
The Synergix Spirit: camaraderie, support, and good vibes
Working at Synergix means growing within a collaborative and caring environment. Benjamin works closely with his teammate Ismaël but also knows he can count on the support and availability of Christian and Leticia—his everyday mentors. This dynamic, close-knit setting gives him the confidence to evolve, knowing he’s supported at every stage.
Benjamin’s integration was smooth and cheerful. One of the funniest memories? After a lively year-end party, Benjamin fell asleep on the train… and missed his stop. Twice in a row! A story that still makes the team smile today.

A bright and sporty personality
Behind his calm demeanour lies a sports enthusiast. Since childhood, Benjamin has played football with FC Genolier-Begnins, complementing it with tennis and padel. Team spirit, discipline, perseverance, and a drive for performance are values he lives by—on the pitch and in the office.
A die-hard Tottenham supporter, he perfectly embodies the British passion for the beautiful game. Faithful to his roots down to the last detail, Benjamin never starts a day without his traditional cucumber sandwich—a habit that never fails to amuse his colleagues.
On the music front, his playlist swings between rap and Disney classics—where Hakuna Matata and Let It Go often accompany his long bank reconciliation sessions. A guilty pleasure he’s agreed to share publicly for this article!
A big fan of TV series, Benjamin juggles Black Mirror, Star Wars, and gripping thrillers. If he were to be a series? It would be Ted Lasso without a doubt: discreet, positive, and people-oriented.
Looking ahead
With the experience gained since joining Synergix, Benjamin has great ambitions for the future. He aims to deepen his technical skills to better support clients in a constantly evolving economic landscape. To achieve this, he’s considering taking the Swiss Federal Diploma in Accounting—an important step to solidify his expertise and open up new career opportunities.
