Some love being on stage. Others prefer the wings. Alex has always liked both.

For more than twenty years, his journey has been guided by a constant: human relationships. Whether behind a drum kit, in social insurance or now in HR, he has always sought to create connection. With those he supports, those he advises, those he works with or shares a moment of life.

Arriving at Synergix on 1 April 2019, he joins an adventure he has known for a long time. Founded by his father Enrico in 2001, the company has been part of his family environment for many years. His elder brother Jérôme has been there since 2009 and his younger brother Joël would join the team in 2022.

Yet Alex’s arrival follows no predetermined path. Between fund management, social insurance, concerts with his band and obtaining his federal certificate in social insurance, he first builds his own trajectory before bringing his experience and human sensitivity to the Synergix adventure.

A story of stage and encounters

After a commercial employee apprenticeship at a car dealership, Alex begins his career in fund management and then insurance before specialising in social insurance. In 2018, he obtains his federal certificate in social insurance, an important milestone that confirms several years of experience in the field.

But there is another thread running through his journey: music.

For more than a decade, he plays drums in a band, gives lessons to beginners and regularly takes the stage. Between 2009 and 2011, he even makes an unusual choice: putting his professional career on hold to fully pursue this passion.

Rehearsals follow, concerts follow. And behind his drum kit, he discovers what drives him profoundly: the energy of the collective. A band functions like a team. Each person contributes their part, but it is the ability to play together that makes the difference.

In hindsight, the different stages of his journey tell the same story. Behind the figures, procedures or musical scores, what has always attracted him is the exchanges, encounters and projects built together.

Humanity as a driving force

At Synergix, his role is shared between clients and employees.

On the client side, he oversees the smooth running of payroll and personnel administration processes. He ensures deadlines are met, requests are handled efficiently and teams have all the information they need to support the companies that trust them. He manages part of the operations himself.

But his playing field does not stop there.

Internally, he actively participates in recruitment, supports employees in their objectives, helps teams when they encounter difficulties and contributes to keeping the company culture alive. He strives to preserve what defines Synergix: a balance between professional rigour and human proximity.

This dual dimension suits him perfectly. On one hand, the rigour of processes. On the other, human relationships. When he speaks of his profession, it is the complex situations, exchanges and accompaniment that come up most often. Because fundamentally, what motivates him has never really changed: being in contact with people.

The one who sets the tempo

For years, Alex occupied his place behind a drum kit. A particular position. The one who sets the rhythm, maintains the energy and enables the ensemble to stay synchronised.

Unsurprisingly, you find a bit of this dynamic in the way he works at Synergix.

Day to day, he navigates between client needs, employee questions, recruitment, internal projects and the organisation of company life. A position that requires juggling numerous subjects whilst maintaining an overall vision.

As in a band, each person has a role to play, but it is often the quality of coordination that makes the difference.

This vision of the collective is reflected in the memories he holds from his years at Synergix. When he recalls moments that have marked him, he does not speak of an individual success or an objective achieved. He thinks first of shared experiences: Enrico’s birthday celebrated on a boat, team lunches or events that bring together clients, partners and employees.

Because fundamentally, what drives him has never really changed. Whether on stage or in the office, it is the moments lived together that have the most value.

A social butterfly with a tender heart

His colleagues often describe him with the same words: jovial, smiling, funny, sociable.

He does not hide it: he loves events, evenings out, concerts, aperitivos that go on and on and all those moments where people simply get together to enjoy the moment.

This social energy is part of his personality. He loves to organise, bring people together, create memories. Synergix’s twentieth anniversary remains one of his most beautiful professional memories, so much did the event embody this ability to bring together the people who make the company live.

But behind the unapologetic social butterfly lies someone profoundly attached to simple things.

When he needs a break, he likes to settle for a few minutes by the lakeside, without phone, without music and without distraction. Just observe, breathe and reset.

And most importantly, he is the father of an eight-year-old daughter of whom he speaks with great pride. A role that holds a special place in his life and that reminds him every day what truly matters.

Between crime investigations and Thai beaches

Long before HR, Alex imagined himself in a very different world: that of criminal investigation.

A fascination that has never really left him. Even today, he devours crime series inspired by true stories and is passionate about investigations, psychological mechanisms and narratives that seek to understand what lies beneath the surface.

Ultimately, this taste for observation and understanding of human behaviour may not be so far from his current job.

In another life, he could easily imagine himself as captain of a boat on Lake Geneva or managing a hotel in Thailand. Projects that appear very different, but all have one thing in common: the desire to discover, meet and fully experience the experiences that present themselves.

For now, it is mainly travel that makes him dream. Tanzania, the Philippines or French Polynesia feature prominently on his list of destinations to discover.

When it comes to food, he has a weakness for Thai flavours, which he enjoys both preparing and savouring. Another way, ultimately, of bringing people together around a moment of sharing.

And what comes next in the tour?

After several years at Synergix, Alex continues to look to the future with the same desire: to be ever closer to those he supports.

What interests him today is not necessarily adding layers of management or multiplying processes. He wants to dedicate more time to people, exchanges, accompaniment and the development of employees.

As in a band, what counts is not only individual performance. It is the ability to move forward together.

And if one were to sum up Alex in a few words, it would probably be these: a person of the collective, of encounters and of sharing.

The kind of generous artist you always want to see in the line-up.
